Trent Thomason

GoldUSA have sold out of Trent's solo album, 'TEN' but have just re-ordered new stock. In the meantime, you can buy it at ChristianDiscs.com.

By the way, Trent's birthday is actually in February!

Wow! 17 dates in October! That's like the 'Beyond Belief' days. It makes me so mad that it takes PETRA having to retire to get dates. What's up with their Official website? Why can't they list dates as accurately as 'PRMW?'

Sorry....just another tidbit of information. ChristianDiscs is not the only place to buy Trent's CD's in the U.S. Another good link is:

www.goldusa.com/FCD/F58/f58.html

Both CD's are on the same page. Hope this is useful!

I think the review was really well-written, Michael. I have the album as well and listen to it often. I think the re-print of the CD will have a different cover design although the music is great. His new one one looks much better than the first. I'm surprised more people haven't heard it.

New VIKTOR album to be produced by John Lawry

I'm sure this is old news by now but thought it was interesting that Louie is hooking up with John Lawry again. Lawry will be producing Viktor's debut album which is expected to be completed this summer. Very cool.

He is very down-to-earth. I'm actually surprised more people have not checked out his solo stuff. It's harder than Petra.

SkyCaptain, thanks so much for those pics of Johnny! I agree, he looks great. I am amazed that someone with his talent has not released another solo project. I have a RARE CD (EP) that he released which is all instrumental. It came out after 'Media Alert.' He's just producing now and owns a studio i...

It's so sad that the ONLY up-date the PETRA Official Website has EVER had is the announcement of their retirement. Why even have a website?

Speaking of which, the same applies to Pete Orta's website. Hasn't been up-dated once.

So....Petra wasn't ACTUALLY on SNL like the subject heading read? You had me going there. I knew it was too good to be true. At least the pizza was good.

SolidRockStrength: Good question. Honestly, I believe the christian music industry is in a disturbing place. There is no doubt in my mind that PETRA's decision to retire is based upon an industry that has lost sight of what true ministry is. However, having said that, the decision is still the band'...

Obviously they can't retire from LIFE! My point was, if they wish to retire from music, let them. My goodness, they've been goin' for 33 years, guys! That's no small accomplishment. Yes, Bob and John both have kids (John has 4) and, for the past 6 years, every member has had to supplement their inco...

You can talk about the 'revolving door' until the cows come home but bottom line is that these guys had to survive. I'm sure there were many band members who WANTED to stay but could not AFFORD to stay. Lonnie moving on to TAIT, Bryce moving on to RSJ, Trent moving on to a solo career, Pete moving o...
