Due to the decline in popularity since the late 90s Petra announced that they are changing formats to Polka. The surprise news comes after several failed attempts to revive petra. It seems petraband.com is under construction. They have a temporary home page up with the basics and new photos. Hopelly that mans we have some good stuff coming. Bob still uses that headpiece he calls hair.

I didn't even know anything was going on much less Petra performing at the event or John Lowery John and Dino Elefonte being present.

I would go with the current lineup but with the bsance of keyboards would double up the guitars by inviting Peat Orta back and have him do backup guitars instead of playing a track for a second guitar like they currently do. Orta in my opinion has been there best guitarist who has not been named Bob...

Speaking of Toby Mac he and John should really do a duet together. That could pull the younger crowd towards petra a little. Also Toby Mac should bring John with him on the hits deep tour because he says he likes to put diversity on that tour.

I also love beyond belief. I have a slight preference to the original but love both versions and I can see why they do the newer live version with the direction music took.

The two female performers from skillet rock it out well.

Following up on what Brent said they should forget about record lables who seem to not think of Petra as economical to do a alobum for and do a kickstarter campaign like John did and make a downright rockin album that beats Jekyll and Hyde.
