Audio Adrenaline did a version of this song on the WOW Christmas 2002 disc. I just noticed this while going thru my collection. Have not listened to it yet to see if it is any good.

The song is also on their greatest hits album "Souvenirs"...

More guitar feedback then drums, but still a cool song.

Cool enough for me to keep in my whiteheart playlist.

Yeah like I said before. The biggest enemy of the church, is the church itself.

"Heaven is taken by the bold"..

Like you know, those bold enough to declare Jesus Christ as Lord....

I was reading an interview with Steve Taylor on some site about his experience with writing lyrics for "praise music". Non the less he had some rather interesting things to say. Thing is my disco comment refers more to the limitations of modern worship music than anything. Everything from the lyrics...

Well I've heard people with golden ears say that one of the most obvious problems with MP3 is something like the cymbals on drums (they sound swishy). I didn't think much of it at the time. But take an album like Audio Adrenaline's Bloom album and listen to someone elses ripped version compared to y...

Well the CCM industry has changed an awful lot since Steve has been a part of it. I certainly hope he is not too ashamed of his earlier work because I thought it was just fine. In fact Taking Heaven By Storm is one of my favorite songs. I like the way it starts and builds up. Gives the speakers a go...

Yeah considering the time of the DVD release I figured sales might be a little slow until people catch onto the news.

With december right around the corner I'm sure he's busy. Didn't him and John have some acoustic thing planned?

Yeah I've always thought of christian songs as... "Hey there is someone else out there that believes in the same thing I do, Good to know" than anything. It certainly does not hurt if the music style is something I like. Sometimes though they do stimulate the thought process which is just as vital. ...

There is a small amount of info in this thread . Unfortunately you need an account to access some things on soul2soul. I'm kinda leary about putting my credit card info to a site that seems to be partially incomplete. But best I can tell the concert did occur and is currently in the editing process....

That's what I suspected, but it's always to hear a more complete description of what occured during the transition to digital. I'm pretty aware of the limitation of radio, probably why I dislike it so much. It just kills so much subtlety in a song. Then, people decided that they wanted CDs to be lou...

You hit something on the head, which is the topic of many older people that remember the mom and pop, niche and mega music stores. Tower records just went belly up. The store in LA was great because that was where people, fans and stars, used to shop. It was like a library. People could get exposed...

Sure.. whatever you say. I know some people that have mp3 players, far more who don't. The ones who don't from conversations with them never seem to be able to find the music the want in the stores. I've perused stores alot. CD's have too short a life span. Go in there instead of seeing a variety of...
