Are you aware of the Classic Petra project and the Back To The Rock CD and DVD? It's all been in the past year, and there are a bunch of concert vids from the past year on Youtube to watch.

I've always loved "Come To Me" from The Exodus. Great song!

Gotta hand it to Darren for how cool and excited he was to share the stage with the original lead singer. He really seemed to make it about John, at least that's what I got from the pics and video I've seen. It made me happy to see how highly they all thought of John. Very cool indeed!

Brent, out of curiosity, why the insistance of using a small drum kit. If he was hired for a job why limit himself? I don't know much about it, it just sounds like ego to me for some reason (and I love Louie, just trying to understand is all). Thanks!

Me too. I want something tangible when I buy it, so having the CD with the inserts and all are important to me. I buy mp3s when they're the only option or if I just want one song (usually for the kids).

To keep it in context, the press that was originally referred to was CCM magazine which quoted Third Day.

I actually do remember hearing the two ministry thing too, but not as a reason for the split but rather a hopeful positive effect of the split. I agree that the album shouldn't have won. But I don't buy the "name recognition" thing. If that were the case, Petra would have been winning grammy's every year since the mid 80s. Second, there were much more popular CCM bands at the time of Double Take. Again I don't blame them for how they felt, ...

Even if Petra didn't deserve the Grammy, I still think it was poor of Third Day to say what they did. I guess we as Petra fans are used to a higher standard of behavior. I mean, how long had Petra waited to finally win a Grammy, and they never went around saying the reason they hadn't gotten it was ...

I don't see changing one band member (slick to lawry) as a revolving door. I think "revolving door" is more on a regular basis, as WUC to ND, ND to PP2, and so on, and sometimes it was more than one change between albums...just to clarify what I think was being referenced earlier.

You'll be glad to know (as am I) that they have mixed it up a little bit in the actual concerts they've been doing.
