Right. That's why Christian bands pretty much dominate the metal scene right now.

Re: John to sing Christmas Classics on TBN Dec. 22

I'm not saying this should be edited or locked, but if we were consistent then it should be done. All posts(including the post giving the full reviews of BTTR) that were in anyway negative towards ClassicPetra and Greg have been edited, locked, or erased. No they haven't been. One thread that blew ...

Re: John to sing Christmas Classics on TBN Dec. 22

I don't know if I appreciate the extremely negative review, Enosh. This is a person you are talking about that we all love and care about and we should be building each other up, not tear each other down. I know this is the way you felt about what you observed, but should that really be said in suc...

Re: John to sing Christmas Classics on TBN Dec. 22

.......and by the way....... I think John, as a faithful servant of the Lord deserves better than that. He deserves RESPECT!!!! So, Enosh should lie about how he thinks John performed because John is a nice guy and a solid Christian? Enosh has every right to honestly state what he thought about the...

Enosh was talking about a specific performance. Just because he sounded good last week doesn't mean that he couldn't have had an off night.

He wasn't talking about last week. He was talking about the show that was on tonight.

If "Back to the Rock" is anything to go by, I completely agree.

Re: The Noise We Make: Question

To me there's not much difference between No Doubt and Wake Up Call. They are like disc 1 and disc 2 of a double album. These 2 albums couldn't be anymore different from each other. The production quality is so far superior on WUC, I can't believe anyone would compare the 2. Production value doesn'...

Re: Petra in Venezuela?

Well, when you guys put it that way, yes as a matter of fact those are very important things. But I will also add that Paul didn't just make tints for a living, Churches sent money to further support the preaching of the Gospel. Paul was also a missionary to the unsaved. I'd say that more than 99% ...

Re: BTTR Part 2 and 3 Track List Speculation?

I can't see them doing the doxology as I think it was rewritten by Slick, can someone who has access to the album confirm who rewrote this? They are all good choices, I thought they were going to tour for a year do the 40+ dates before they do this next album right? Technically, it wasn't rewritten...

Re: The Noise We Make: Question

Has anybody here ever question yourselves about what the heck does an excited moaning Hindu or Pakistani woman, has to do with Christ or the Gospel? I'm assuming you're asking about the intro, but I have no idea how you've determined that a) the woman is Hindu (Pakistani is not equivalent with Hind...

Re: Wikileaks

So, following the same logic, if Iran or North Korea started murdering Americans because they were a threat to the national security of said countries, that'd be okay. Romans 13 does not give government carte blanche to kill as they deem fit. Being that both Paul and Jesus blatantly rebelled against...

Re: Petra in Venezuela?

Maybe this is just the cynical side of me, but... Aren't there much more pressing issues we could be coming together to raise money for than a Petra concert? Especially at $200 a head? I get the Petra is a ministry, but I sometimes feel like people use that as an excuse to talk about raising/paying ...
