So you're saying that studio musicians did most of the drum tracks on the albums? I didn't know that.

I voted for 84-85. Would have voted for 82-86, but that wasn't an option. ;)

That having been said, my favorite Petra albums all fall between (and include)

I'm a big Louie Weaver fan, and still quite disappointed at his dismissal, but if I'm being honest, in my humble, ignorant opinion, the stuff Paul Simmons was doing on Farewell drummed circles around what Louie did on a lot of the original tracks.

Does John do any Petra songs at his solo concerts?

This has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find it and was just curious.

It's a good thing you put the "Just kidding" warning on the top of that, man...I was about to lay into you something fierce...now I don't get to do that... Anyway, I have epilepsy, and had no issues with the Farewell DVD. Well I do apologize if you were offended by the epileptic comment. ...

Will there be a epileptic-safe version available?

JUST KIDDING! JUST KIDDING! JUST KIDDING! (mostly. ) I picked up the DVD today and am enjoying it. I want to thank Inpop for doing something they really didn't have to. The DVD is something I will enjoy having for a long time. I think frankly that most all of the criticisms folks ...

I was disappointed that while the bestbuy.com site had it available for order, none of the brick and mortars, or at least none in the north Atlanta area, were going to have it. I stopped by a Family Christian Stores location in Woodstock, GA and they said the computer showed 1 in stock on Tuesday, b...

Sounds to me like the problem is that you're using IE, which is produced by that wonderful company Microsoft. :) Try using Firefox instead. It will revolutionize your browsing experience. BTW - Are you on OS9? If so, your company needs to upgrade badly. Using OS9 is like sticking with Windows 95. -...

I know that it was stated that John had to go back in the next day to re-dub some of the vocals. I think to some degree these songs are so "automatic" that he tends to lose his place. I think that was the case in the (seemingly) 14 times they had to re-start Beyond Belief. As I recall he kept forget...

Yeah, a CD can only hold 80 minutes worth of material, so there was no way they could squeeze two complete albums onto one CD. I still think that is one of the most lame-brained things Starsong did. That's not entirely accurate. Depending on compression rates and recording processes more than 80 mi...
