I think we need to be looking toward God for the answers and not looking through books that were written by man. I am very leery about what man has to say about the end times. Everybody has a different outlook on this subject and we have a tendency to find a non scripture device and believe it with ...

mjanke

Mjanke, I use to be an accountant for a small record co. out of Houston and now I am one for the largest media company in the southwest, so please let me explain. Actual Album sales are recorded on a quarterly basis, and are reported to the IRS on that basis. The actual album sales are recorded when...

I think

We all know John tried his best. That is all we can ask for. I we are missing the point of why Petra and John did this. Putting someone else in there to do the vocals would have been a BIG mistake.

I

I rate it better production wise. It is a very quality based album. I do not really care on how they redid the classics, but when I listen to it the first thing that jumps out at me is the quality.

macs comments

Pmal, I think if you read the previous post from Kirkman you will clearly see that Mac was not at all ashamed at stating that they should have that Grammy. Double Take is not one of my favorite Petra albums, but it's the best produced Petra album out there and Offerings production wise was weak and ...

A few months after Petra won the grammy for DT someone came on here and showed an article from a mag. Judboy, I would like to get this done. What will be required of me? Mike, It's not surprising that this has happen, but I do wonder why Bob didn't keep records of this. Even though the Star Song had the rights to it, Bob still owned the Petra name at that time. I do believe John owns it know right?

Brent, What neck of the woods do you live in? Here in Texas they seemed to promote JAH fairly well. It was on the endshelves and also in the new music section for a time. Janke, I am guessing around 100,000 copies of JAH were sold. Remember the sale of a CD counts when a store purchances from the ma...

Sue, In otherwords you are saying that JAH #'s are pretty good? I know Inpop had said that they were pretty satisfied with Revival #s, and I know JAH has sold more then Revival. I just talked to a few of the Christian stores a few weeks ago and they all said that JAH has moved very well. BTW most of...

In foreign countries it is still common to find vinyl, but they haven't made any for the states since the late 80's and it was all ready getting sarce. BTW cassette tapes are all but gone. Most Record Co. do not manufacturing them anymore, and VHS is also on the way out. There are some Blockbusters ...

I've seen it so many times as CITAS. I think the proper and right thing to do would be to go with CITAS. Mike I'm not saying your wrong I'm just saying i'm right.
