The Petra Zone

Decisions, decisions.... two of the MN concerts would certainly be doable for me to get to, but Farewell Petra just doesn't hold much interest for me anymore. Would probably rather just see a John Schlitt concert.

That's not exactly what he says. Watch it again. First he says there is some very kicking stuff and then he says there is some really nice lighter rock.

I have Mediacom and the same thing happens to me every once in while. Usually, it will last for a couple days and then things go back to normal.

Honestly, I have to agree with the reviewer about the lack of instrumentals and solos. It may have been what they were trying to accomplish at the time, but it keeps the music from really standing the test of time the way Petra's other music does. Not that it's not good anymore or that I never liste...

My New Years resolution is to try not to tick anybody off this year, so I'm just gonna sit on the sidelines and watch all this go down.

Not this one. I've written a few songs on the piano, but I'm much more comfortable writing with the guitar. I've written at least 50 or more songs and only couple by way the piano.

Personally, I would still prefer to have a CD, but I would take new music from Petra any way I could get it.

There is no question that J&H Petra will be playing shows. That much has been announced, so that's a no brainer. Will they record? I don't know. I hope so. I would hope for an album from any version of Petra, but I have no reason to believe the money or the demand is any more available for that vers...
