Thanks for the update, Spott. While Greg and Paul both said previously that they were writing new material, neither of them said Petra had finished writing any songs, so this is good to hear.

Well, now I get an email from someone saying they have seen posters for the Chaska concert in their town. Hrrrmmmm... I'm not sure what the answer is, because I'm on vacation and haven't been able to call anyone to investigate.

According to the ShoutFest website, Petra is performing with ShoutFest on Sept. 11 in Somerset, KY. Here's the phone number for more info: 606-676-8810. Maybe someone can call and confirm.

Apparently there is an article about the reunion concert. Anyone have it? I don't have the article myself, but John DeGroff told me a few weeks ago that he was given the chance to write about the concert for CCM. He also submitted photos his cousin took of the show. I imagine this is probably the a...

For what it's worth, Petra will not be performing at *every* ShoutFest date. Check the lists carefully if you're gonna go to one of them.
