Re: the law

The law is that you are allowed to copy, but you are not allowed to earn a profit of any kind off their material. Not exactly. You are allowed to copy for your OWN personal use. You are not allowed to copy, and then give that copy to a friend. Sure, you didn't make a profit... but the copy you gave...

Of course, I didn't mean to say that J&HEE is a bad album... far from it. I enjoy it a lot, and it helps me learn my Spanish better. But it will always sound a bit "off" to native speakers because John doesn't pronounce well enough to really be free and let his voice go. I'm glad he was willing to t...

Actually there was a group picture, but ours didn't turn out that well. I may post it here on the Zone just for you, though.

Re: Jekyll and Hyde

You mention in your review that Jekyll and Hyde was not a very good seller. I'm just curious how you know this? Compared to Petra's previous albums like PP2 or Beyond Belief, J&H does not seem to have been a huge seller. Josh... "The Noise We Make" and "Send Revival, Start With Me" are both from th...

Re: Petra in spanish

Matthew RJ wrote:How about the PP1 project? How does John do on that one?
PP1 featured a lot of choral and background singers, so that John actually didn't have to do much singing (both in English and Spanish). He did fairly well. But when he has to carry the whole album, it's not quite as successful.

It was the result of user stupidity when I was copying and pasting. Oh well, life goes on.

Why didn't Bill Glover appear? He was SO excited about it... I wonder what happened. Bob said Bill couldn't make it because of problems he has struggled with throughout his life. He used it as an opportunity to give a message about addictions (or "life-controlling problems" as he called them) at th...

Wow, well you beat us (we had about 420 miles or so). I went straight to work after arriving home, unloading the car, etc. I hope to write a review and post photos within a day or two.

I can't find an interview with Third Day where someone says those things. Here's the closest one I found : JJT: How did it feel to see Petra get the Grammy for Rock Gospel Album? Everyone I know - if they had a chance to sit down with you they’d want to know this. Do you feel you should have gotten ...

Re: PETRA'S LIVE CD!!

Well, I think we can begin a strong call on this... It would be great if INPOP give for all of us this gift. Look, Greg X. VOlz and other menbers of PETRA have been eternal in our memories with Capture and Time & SPace. So, I think John and the news guys need this too. Imagine listening them rockin...

Re: What will the next CD be like?

Well, fellow Petheads, believe it or not, we're going on a year since the release of Jekyll & Hyde. I know some of us are privy to information(unfortunately, I am not), so I'll ask... does anyone know when Petra might be heading back to the studio to work on a new project? Well, technically they ju...
