THE LATEST SCOOP on "J&H En Espaol!"

Some exciting things have happened at my wife's website, Sobre La Roca! First, she has totally redesigned everything. Now it loads faster, it's more attractive, and it has more information than ever before. But even better than that, she just posted her in-depth review of "Jekyll & Hyde En Espaol...

Re: Mhhh

Cmo sonara? Josh Renaud still has not made a low fidelity sampler... WHY? Well, there's lots going on around the Renaud household. But Yoli is working on the review and many other things and it will all be ready soon. Soundclips are a little tougher because there are permissions that we have ...

Finally got my copy and I'm listening now. Interesting mix of stuff.

It was also cool to see my name in the liner notes!

Yes, we requested a copy to review a while back.

Well, the album will be released in just a little over a week, so you should be able to order it for yourself and your friends to listen to!!

I used to have all the Petra CDs (including En Alabanza), but my collection was stolen... But since then I married Yoli who had many (but not all) of them. I think we now have them all, though ... including "J&H En Espaol." :) I also have all the Five Iron Frenzy albums, separateunion, though I'l...

Re: Witch Hunt

I love that song. I love that whole album. :D You don't hear too much about back masking now though. It's hard to believe BTS came out way back in 1984. :) If you want more delicious backmasking, then get a few Five Iron Frenzy albums... They have backmasks on at least two that i can recall off the...

Re: THAT`S WHY

come on, don`t make me go to josh website, explain me here why the test of time phrase. Elo, you should be ashamed of yourself. :P In English, to say something has "stood the test of time" means it has lasted, it has endured. But that's not the way Bob used the phrase in this song. Here's his expla...

New single: Would'a, Should'a, Could'a ??

Someone posted on my PRTW messageboard saying Inpop was releasing a new single and that it would be Would'a, Should'a, Could'a.

Anyone confirm if this is true?

AA and rock

See the problem is, the category was best "Rock" album. That leaves it open to a lot of interpretation but to say that AA rocked better than Petra or Reliant K is just silly. I liked both of those albums much better as AA is more like a pop rock band to me. Hrmm... I don't really agree with that. T...

Re: ...

I agree that stations have an obligation to their LISTENERS, not to someone making long distance phone calls to a station they don't get. I would agree with that, too. If there was a great interest in petra being played on the radio, they would play them, there just isn't. If people don't want to h...

Re: ...

Shouldn't the shame be the ones who lied and requested to hear a song on a station they knew they didn't get? Shouldn't the shame be on the person who made that request and asked fans to lie for petra? The station director did nothing wrong, he just passed along a request that showed just how far p...
