Pamplin

Post by PetfanInCt » Wed Sep 22, 2004 11:22 am

I read an article on MJ's website the article was done around the time the Word records dumped Petra from thier lineup.

In the article John states that one of the labels possibilities at the time was with Pamplin records. A label that had the Ellfantes on staff and many other people that had worked with Petra in the past. So what happened? ANy reason why it didnt work out with Pamplin.

Yup, Pamplin folded. I was never quite clear why... they had some pretty good artists on their roster.

LOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! you crack me up LOL. You can`t think a record company is succesful because of their name LOL.

maybe for you guys Petra is a cool name (It is for me) but in Mxico Petra is a name you would put to a girl and in a mexican opinion that`s a terribly ugly name.

I think Petra's a good name, but I don't think I'd go so far as to name my daughter Petra. It might work for a middle name. Pamplin is sort of a strange name for a record company, maybe it was someone's last name or something.

It would be funny to name a girl Veronica Kathleen and call her
Ronnie Kate. :D
