Post by Michael » Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:33 pm

I finally got off my butt and wrote up something about it:

Cat's written one too, and it will show up shortly.

Very nice review Michael! Thanks for taking the time to do it. I am considering a trip to Jackson, TN Saturday for the Shoutfest show there. It all depends upon my job situation, but that's a long and boring story.

I saw Petra at a festival in Cincinnati last month and I have to agree that the band seems to be on the way up. They were energetic and loving every minute of the performance, which is something I can't really say about when I saw them in 2002. I definitely think God still has plans to use Petra, and I encourage everyone to keep on praying!

Good review MJ. It's a shame Mikey didn't get to go, but it's probably for the best since you didn't get to see the guys afterwards anyway. :)

Yeah, poor Mikey... this is the third time he's missed Petra or John. But he has been to two Petra concerts (both times he fell ASLEEP! during the concert!) This one was physically grueling, and he would have been bored waiting, and plus it was expensive for a little kid. He would have liked to see Jump 5, too... they have a song in his favorite GameCube game. :)
