I think it is really cool that Petra is getting some attention in India. Here's another little story:

Petra, the four Grammy award winning Christian rock band from the US, said that though remote and almost inaccessible, they found the hilly state of Mizoram heavenly.
Talking to mediapersons, the band members, who arrived in Aizawl on Wednesday evening, described their performances in India, at Bangalore in 2002 and Shillong last week, as successful and encouraging.
Bob Hartman, founder of the band said that they had earlier faced criticism and even boycotts from some churches in the US, and maintained that their music had to change to suit changing times in order to reach the young people.
On the reasons for survival through the past three decades, Hartman said that they placed their ministry and the Gospel first and the band second.
The mega musical concert, the first ever international music event would be held at the Assam Rifles ground here on Friday night.
