Chordant
I'd be inclined to believe Chordant... although, manufacturer? Is that what they are? I was under the impression that they are only a distribution channel.
Anyway, the track list does seem entirely plausible; I don't see any reason to disbelieve it. We'll know for sure on the 22nd.

I never said it was a "big deal". I'm just saying that until we have an official announcement, we should take all rumors with a grain of salt. This does not seem unreasonable to me.executioner wrote:InpopShara said the turn around time was too close to get any enhanced product on the street. I feel they will put alot more effort into the DVD with extras, so whats the big deal?

disappointed
I'm actually disappointed, too, at the prospect of them leaving off the two songs. Judas' Kiss is a TERRIFIC song for John, although I do love the Greg original as well, and Lord I Lift Your Name On High has become such a signature Petra concert song that it's sad to miss out. Hopefully they'll both be on the DVD.

I really like the track list. For one, 14 songs is great....and the medleys actually make it seem longer than 14 songs. I really don't care that Lord I Life Your Name On High isn't on there because some radio, espcially KLove wears it out....actually it's one of only a few Petra songs they play. Plus, Petra's version of LILYNOH does not sound much different than the traditional praise version. I would have loved hearing Judas Kiss, though.

I have the finished product in front of me as I type this. Believe me when I say that this CD is NOT enhanced.
Like I said before, there was not enough time between recording, mixing and mastering the project to submitting it for manufacturing for us to be able to get the enhanced portion included on the album. If we had, the release date would have had to be pushed back, and I'm sure you all would have liked that.
Look for a great DVD with lots of bonus features in early 2006.

I'm looking forward to it. Circumstances have made it so that I won't be able to catch Petra live, but this will be the next best thing!Look for a great DVD with lots of bonus features in early 2006.
