In just 3 days Petra will be in Dawsonville (like you didnt know).

I realy wish I was going on Sat as well but the funds are just not there. I think it stinks :( But it will be the third time I have seen Petra this year so I will have to live with it.

I will have my Farewell shirt on and my "ugly"Petra hat. I like mt hat but I am the only girl in the house. I will also be sporting my Lucas McGraw sign.
My seats are sec B row C seats 6 and 7.

With the year I have had I need this soooooo much. I kinda hid from Christmas and cried through it. I keept telling my self haing on Petra is comming. I cant wate.

I'll be going (amongst others) - and hoping to meet you!

I don't have a seat - I'll be the one wandering around with a camera. Probably wearing my good old Petra newspaper shirt (looks like a real newspaper).

I'm sorry you had a bad Christmas... hopefull this show will lift your spirits a bit.

Going As Well!

This is quickly becoming a Pethead tradition also: going out for a late night snack at whatever local restaurant is open and gabbing late into the night.

Anyone game for that? Anyone know if Dawsonville HAS a late-night restaurant? hehehee....

If not - you're all welcome to join me and my son in our room at the Comfort Inn.

This is the SOUTH!

Good grief. This is the South. There's got to be an all night Waffle House somewhere in the area. The crowd can get pretty interesting there late at night, but I actually do like some of the food. I'll see if Eddie has any ideas.

All 5 of my family should be there front and center. I'm not sure if they'll all be game for staying out late that night or not. We'll have to see. I'm not sure what I'll be wearing with the exception of my bright red Wisconsin Badgers jacket. Go Badgers!!!!

There is a WH on the corner of 53 and 400.

That's right near the hotel (I think). Teri & I will be there, front & center, for Dawsonville. We'll be trekking to Murphy, as well.

I'll be there with a friend. I am short and very round with dark curly hair and glasses, so if you see me, please say hi. Despite what Sue might tell ya, I am fairly shy, at least with people I don't know.

And yes, I'll be in Murphy too.

I thought about going to this one, assuming it was not cancelled. I wonder if there are still tickets available.

Problem is I have mixed feelings about petra retiring. Although it would be cool to see Greg X. Volz (assuming he is still on the tour). I have never seen him in concert. My first petra concert was the "back to the street" tour with John Schlitt just starting lead.

Hey, If I am coming up I-65 from Mobile, AL and I hit I-85 to Atlanta do I go into downtown to hit GA 400 or is it an exit off of I-85?

You do have to go into town but not all the way. I think 400 is just a way past Georgis Teck. If you need to you can call *DOT on your cell phone anywere in GA and they can help you.

See ya'll tomorrow.

So.... according to Mapquest GA-400 is an exit off of I-85. Is that correct?

If my map is accurate, 400 is the same road as 19, at least further north from Atlanta. Sounds like you have it right, to me. I have no clue as to traffic through Atlanta. I would be tempted to take 285 around, if that keeps you from the center of town. The church is on 53 just west of the intersection with 19/400. Good luck! See you there!

Yes 400 is off 85. It is a toll road and I think is is about .50 I think. I would not come 285 from AL. Traffic stinks at rush hour but other than that it is ok.
