J&H Tour Setlist?

Post by js3971 » Mon Feb 27, 2006 9:49 am

I was wondering what the primary setlist was for the Jekyl and Hyde tour was? I didn't get to see them in concert for that tour. I think J&H is their best album in a long time, and it would have been great to hear more of those songs in concert. Just wondering.

I did not see Petra do a "full" set during the J&H tour, just festivals. However, the songs I did hear from J&H were:

J&H
Test of Time
All About Who You Know
Perfect World
Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda

Bridget

<BLINK>

Bridget... weren't you in Franklin for the DVD taping? That WAS their full set. We saw it. We heard it. Anyone can hear it (except for a few parts) on the CD. Plus, there's a video full concert, taped months and months ago, on JohnWSchlitt.com on the video page.

Or, anyone who wants to look over some set lists from many tours, especially from recent years, can check out http://guidetopetra.com/concerts.html and click over to any concert you're interested in.

Uh, Michael...

The Franklin DVD taping was the FAREWELL Tour, not the JEKYLL & HYDE Tour.

I may be senile on some things, but this ain't one of them! :D

Very early in the JAH tour they were playing Life As We Know It, but for some reason they dropped it; That's a shame because that song ROCKED!

Yes, I was asking about the J&H tour. I got to see them on the Farewell tour in Irving, and they did their full set then including Judas Kiss, Lord I LIft Your Name on High, I am a C-H, solos, and Show Your Power and We Need Jesus at the end.

Oh, as for the full setlist besides J&H tunes, I remember, "Creed", "Beyond Belief," "Rose Colored Stained Glass Windows," "Judas Kiss," "I Waited" (Sue's favorite --NOT), "Lord I Lift Your Name," "Right Place," and "This Means War." I won't say that there weren't others at other venues, but that's all I remember seeing at the couple of festivals I went to.

Oooo, gotcha. My bad. :)

Check the link to my site and I'll bet you can find a set list or three.

When I saw Petra on the JEKYLL & HYDE tour (Independence, IA), they played "The Noise We Make" from REVIVAL.

Very cool song...from another underrated album. REVIVAL will probably be my next Petra purchase.

The first "reunion" show, which was part of the J&H tour, had this set list:

* Creed
* Judas' Kiss
* Rose-Colored Stained Glass Windows
* Right Place
* All About Who You Know
* Sight Unseen/It Is Finished/This Means War!
* The Noise We Make
* Dance
* Beyond Belief
* Lord, I Lift Your Name On High
* He Came, He Saw, He Conquered
* Jekyll & Hyde
* Show Your Power

I don't know if this set list was typical of the tour, though. They may have played more classics expecting a lot of older fans to come to that show.

J&H and Farewell were unfortunatly comprised mostly of the same songs.
