Arthur, the EMI-restriction does not count for this album. It's released independently and EMI has nothing to do with this album. I've had the same problem when Farewell was released. You probably tried ordering it at Musichristian.com. As far as I know that is the only Internet-store that really obeys the silly EMI-rule that their US-released products are not available to individual international customers. I think they trust their own international distribution channels too much.

We bought Vertical Expressions at the John & Bob concert in Buffalo last night. It's AWESOME. GET IT!!!
Gotta love the live Judas Kiss bonus track!

John & Bob played many of the songs on it at the concert.
What a blessed night of praise & worship to our Lord.

I ordered mine yesterday! I wonder if Petramerchandise.com see the same people time and time again. I get this CD, the Captured DVD, and a couple other items.

I will order mine tomorrow, so when someone gets theirs make sure you put up a review and all that good stuff.

BTW does anyone one know who is playing the instruments(besides guitar) on the album?

Will this be available in stores? Ordering from the website comes out to $18.06 with shipping and handling, which is very expensive for a music CD.

Don't get me wrong or anything but $4 is not a big difference in getting a CD. I understand for some money is tight, but for the price of a value meal at McDonald's you can have the CD. Plus with the tax you will have to pay in retail you actually are saving what $2.

BTW don't forget about the gas money you will need to go to the store to pick up the CD with.

Think about it for a second and see what is the most logical way to go!

I just got mine today...I'll listen to it later tonight if I have a chance. I love it on the inside of the CD jacket where John and Bob decide to thank everyone who was ever born so they won't forget anyone.

Got mine today too! I'm listening to it right now. Some arrangements are better than others (not sure if "God Of Wonders" fits their sound). I really dig "Draw Me Close," "Here I Am To Worship," and "My Redeemer Lives"! Very cool! Still have half the album to listen to. Just reading through the titles sounds like it could've come from an extended set list of my band. All popular, excellent worship songs.

Speaking of "Here I Am To Worship," it sounds like Joel Hanson singing backing vocals. The linear notes don't list the BGVs. Does anyone know if he sang on it?

Also, a big surprise is that Jim Cooper is a producer on the record. You might recall his involvement on Farewell also. I'm glad to see that they've reconciled! Praise God for that and for a great new album no one expected! :)

Were the two live songs taken from when they recorded Farewell or were they recorded at other concerts? I got mine in today, and I listened to those songs first. Judas Kiss sounds really good.

Those were from the Farewell taping.

No, it wasn't Joel Hanson. Guess again!

Well.

My Cd did not arrive yet and it is normal bacause I live in Brazil. So, we are far from USA. Anyway, I am very anxious about the arrival of this CD at my home.

I did not listen. But this BGVOCALS must have been sung by Bob and also John.

Still waiting...

Well, Artur, my CD hasn't arrived yet either. And, I live somewhere around 500-600 miles from Nashville; a little closer than Brazil. :? I am anxiously checking the mail everyday.

I'm with you on the BGVs being John and Bob. I can't wait to hear for myself.
