I am totally psyched about Petra coming back. I went to Kansas-Styx-Foeigner concert recently, and it made me more interested in rock music. So I got out my Petra and DeGarmo & Key CD's this week and then found out about Classic Petra. God is good all of the time. Peace and goodwill.

"More Power To Ya" is my all-time favorite album cover (front and back). I always thought it'd be cool to have a custom guitar made like the one on the cover. One thing I hate about the introduction of the CD is that it effectively killed the album cover industry. I think Petra's last great album cover was "On Fire!". After that they all got a bit generic and unimaginative (which was true for the music industry in general). Though "Petra Praise" and "Wake-Up Call" aren't too bad for CD covers.

Greg looked awesome with a beard. So did Louie for that matter. I've just never gotten used to seeing their faces without one.

Still no tour dates listed officially yet! Is that concerning? I see next year they are planing on going to asia. I vote for the Philippines Petra has never been there !

I sent an email to Michael Nachtigal asking a few questions about the new CD, Sony Music, ten year contract and also about a possible live CD and DVD.

Question: Is there possibility of some live CD or DVD?
Answer: Shooting a live concert video Aug. 28, 2010.
