It's from 1994, not 1992.

The guy, Joel, is from Italy, and said that he found the video on a VHS cassette from Billy Graham.

I had heard about Petra doing some videos for BGM, but don't ever recall seeing any of them. I wonder who owns the rights to them BGM or Bob?

Three years ago there was a podcast interview with John Lawry and there he talked about doing a video with Billy Graham for In The Likeness Of You. So that one should be out there too. I'd never heard of this Prayer video before. Great surprise!

I'm just wondering who the fifth guy is. In the shots in the church you can clearly see John, Bob on keys, Louie on keys and Ronny on bass. If you look closely there's another guy who's playing the organ. Some close-ups towards the end seem to suggest that it's John L., judging by his style of playing, but they never show his face. And then at 2 minutes they have three guys singing. Of course we all recognize Bob and John, but who's the third guy? I think it must be Jim Cooper, because he doesn't really look like John L. So then the fifth guy playing the organ should also be Jim Cooper. That would definitely make this a 1994 recording, since John L. played his last show in New Year's Eve 1993.

I know! sorta hard to believe video of this quality has been almost buried until now.

This song really speaks to me, because I am far from my family.. and this is my prayer at the moment.

Seeing John with his kids brought a tear to my eye too.

I'll try to get a scan from the guy who originally posted the vid - he has it on VHS, and stated 1994.

Cooper was a Petra techie before he became part of Petra, so the vid COULD have been made prior to 1994. I'll try to find more info.

I know that there is a "Hey World" video out there somewhere. Petra did some type of promotion with some Pro-Life Organization in the Dallas area back in early 1992. They shot the video before the concert that evening on stage. I've actually never seen the video but it was at one time broadcast on Real Videos on TBN.
