I do not think it was intentional. if I saw petra in Brazil playing beat the system last week, I would have done the same thing.

gee whiz- when is the last time Prayer was sung? NM-I guess it was in a medley.

I guess it's less problematic when Farewell Petra plays because they do sometimes play old stuff from the Greg Volz era, but Classic Petra never plays stuff from the John Schlitt era, so it could confuse some people.

Yeah, that's really sad. I'm sure it's just ignorance but it's hard to believe someone didn't have enough knowledge to call for a correction.

I'm sure management has enough knowledge to know that its not right, but the promo was already up & paid for; I'm sure if the budget was larger a do over would have been done.

Dean told me that they did point out to the people who made it, that the ad is confusing, but I agree that it probably won't get redone.

Majority of the time these ads are put up by the promoter which it looks like this is the case this time also, but also in the same breath the artists management proof reads(because it's in the contract) anything before it goes public. I'm not sure if management was given that opportunity for this or not, and if they weren't why not? Maybe this is a question that should be brought up with Dean.

Greg Volz can sure do one heck of a John Schlitt impersonation.
