Petra to play Creation Festival
Finally Creation Fest is doing something old school again. Steve Taylor has been added to the lineup, and Petra will be there. I can't wait! It would be nice if Petra got a longer time slot, but I'm guessing they'll be on in the afternoon, and it will be 45-50 minutes tops.
Can't complain too much though. It's been too long since they've been there.

They last played there after the release of Jekyll and Hyde. My brain wants to say that they played there twice during the JAH/Farewell years, but I can't recall. I know I also saw them in PA at a Steve Wingfield evangelistic event.

Hmmm. The 5 o'clock slot is both good and bad. There are more people there, but in the past, the opening slot has been shorter than the afternoon slots or the later slots after the speaker. Whatever they end up getting, it will sound awesome.

Decisions, decisions.... two of the MN concerts would certainly be doable for me to get to, but Farewell Petra just doesn't hold much interest for me anymore. Would probably rather just see a John Schlitt concert.

The last time they played Creation was in 2004. I was there. I also saw them at the Steve Wingfield event in Greencastle Pa, which was an extemely tight set. Those guys were really on it that night. I talked to Bob after the show and he even remarked at how good everything felt and that it helps when the monitor mixes are good. Gman, what part of PA are you from?

Currently living in Mechanicsburg. I don't remember the Wingfield event having a large attendance for their set, but you are correct that they were hot that night.
