I just found this old video with John performing Inside Of You. Video and audio are out-of-sync, but still worth taking a look. Probably from sometime 1995.

I am sitting here ready to cry......

WHERE are the guys with THAT kind of testimony in Christian music TODAY?!?!

I am sorry, I know that "evangelism" has evolved and the new thing is to be "so subtle" about your faith so as not to "scare away" non-believers, but THAT kind of REALNESS (if that's even a word) is exactly what is needed.

And the fact that bands/musicians like John and Petra are not being thrust to the public by so-called Christian entertainment lables is a sad state.

And do not take this the wrong way, I am not casting the judgement...but THOSE lables who are using the lable of Christianinty as a marketing tool more-so than a ministry tool WILL answer for the decisions they make.

Thank God for Petra and for John!

Seriously! And most bands today that call themselves Christian bands don't even have too many obviously Christian songs. Some say they don't want to be called a Christian band because "It might offend people" and some even appear on MTV!
