I have played the song a couple of times now. It really sounds like a studio production with "samples". The keyboard and drumming/percussion is the worst.
(01:06 and so on - for me it sound VERY dated...)

Have to agree with Trodlan.
I never like these kinds of layered background vocals with five John Lawry's and five John Schlitts forming a choir. This doesn't come close to the original.

With all respect Trodlan and p-freak, this was probably "Hey, since we're together, lets put this to tracks" type of recording. Probably done in a hurry for die hard fans.
Glad they took the time to do it and a nice version. But I agree, the original is better.
