Just watched this show where they interviewed Ronny Cates, and discussed the possibility of Petra being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

Then I went to this site and saw a few comments explaining why Petra should be inducted..

Thoughts?

They are putting all kinds of non rock "artists" like rappers and hippie singer song writers in there. They are neglecting lots of foundational artists. I don't know if being inducted is as prestigious as it once was. Besides, who gives a big crap what the world thinks about Petra? They know what they did. The fans know. God knows. The world's accolades don't matter IMO.

Now I've got the bridge from Godpleaser in my head.

After watching the Ronny Cates interview link I would have to say there is a chance to see Dream Team together again. Ronny said we are all open to what God has for us.

Was a good interview, Ronny is upbeat he just loves Petra. I can only imagine the text messages he gets from Louie

Makes sense to include them. For many people, Christian and secular, Petra is the Christian rock band, the one everybody knows about or has at least heard of. They've also had the biggest influence on the music industry of any Christian band.
