With the gay marriage/SCOTUS ruling today, the Internet is buzzing. One comment, in particular, caught my eye and reminded me of a great song. I'd like to share that comment with you. I hope it offers you peace of mind.
For many Christians, this will clarify something they need clarified: America is not our ultimate homeland. We are citizens of another kingdom and every Christian is an immigrant in this world.

Excellent thought to end (or start) the day.

Weirdest thing was last week I had NOTW CD in the car(couple years between listens) and listened to it and the song reminded me so much about Heaven and how blessed we are to have God's Grace. BTW guitar work on Pied Piper is some of Bob's best.

While this is not our ultimate destination as Christians, it's still our duty to spread the gospel and fight sin and corruption while we're here. I'm often reminded of the following joke when I consider the Christian's place in this world:

"When I get to heaven," says a man to his friend, "I'm going to ask God why he didn't do more to stop suffering in the world."
"When I get to heaven," replies his friend, "I'm afraid God is going to ask me the same thing."
