Yes this is confirmed and very real. It won't surprise me if you see other members of both bands join in from time to time.

If they were close, I would go, especially if Dann Huff were to show up. Then we could hear John Schlitt Wake record songs the right way.

I just watched that video again, and John clearly said he was working "on a new John Schlitt solo record." So we've got not 1 but 2 new projects with John singing lead?! Nice!

This is... odd. Not something I ever would have expected, but I'm getting a little tired of the remakes and remixes. I'd rather see these guys do 100% new material.

If John is the only lead vocalist, it might be interesting to hear him sing White Heart tunes. Although, if I were going to put together a John Schlitt CCM covers record, I would have him cover some Bride.

This is pretty cool! Two of my favourite bands merged together. I like Tree 63 too. The sound clip takes some getting used to - hearing Billy's guitar with John's voice. Looking forward to it!
