He is too Slick to not be Slick.

I do wonder what he looks like though...
Since most of the Petra guys went bald, I chose an appropriate picture for my avatar.

I think Louie is doing a great job impersonating him. He even has the voice down.

Unless the color photo is from the 90's you haven't changed much.

Not sure whether this "Slick" you keep talking about is the the hillbilly with the camper truck or the geetar player, but dig the groovy leisure suit!

Here's an idea to settle the debate: post a picture of yourself holding said memorabilia.
You mean, memorabilia like stuff from eBay?
Ha! Good point! Still it would be neat to see memorabilia only a former Petra member would have.
For example, we'd love to see you wearing your old sleeveless Petra top from the Not of This World album (if you still have it).

I think I saw that shirt for sale once on eBay... rather ragged out and moth-eaten.

Does anyone know what this thing is?

I was having this email conversation with John Slick years ago (perhaps about 10 years) that was supposed to become a published interview on one of the Petra sites, but it never materialized. Some of the stuff that jmslick has posted is very similar to what I talked about with him back then.
I don't recall an email conversation, but I don't doubt it either.

I found an eight-page document I'd written in 2014 for this Petra "wiki": http://petra.wikia.com/wiki/Petra_Wiki#
Maybe the wiki owner thought me to be an impostor, so decided to not post my information. 8)
Or, maybe I forgot to send the document.

That was me. Never thought you were an impostor, but you never sent the document. I thought maybe you felt I was being a bit too intruding, so I didn't press the issue.

I can't work it out there are the LED's an on/off switch and a variable... some sort of kit/home made visual metronome?

Hi, Carlo!
I was kidding about the impostor thing. You were not intruding; I just wrote a bunch of stuff and forgot to send it. I still have all of it. If I were to publish it, I'd probably edit a bit first.

I know you were kidding :P I don't know if you still have the same e-mail, but maybe we can agree on what to publish and whatnot via e-mail. Let me know. Thanks!

That's easy. Flip that toggle switch and an electronic cigarette pops up.

That little black box detects alpha waves, the same alpha waves emitted by Superman. You are tracking the Man of Steel!

I found a video that perfectly explains exactly what this thing is.
