He is too Slick to not be Slick.
Since most of the Petra guys went bald, I chose an appropriate picture for my avatar.fiendik wrote:This guy knows to much about several things to not be "the real Slick"; If he wasn't him before, then he should be now.
I do wonder what he looks like though...
For example, we'd love to see you wearing your old sleeveless Petra top from the Not of This World album (if you still have it).dihigo wrote:Ha! Good point! That was me. Never thought you were an impostor, but you never sent the document. I thought maybe you felt I was being a bit too intruding, so I didn't press the issue.jmslick wrote:I don't recall an email conversation, but I don't doubt it either.p-freak wrote:Voting for 100% yes.
I was having this email conversation with John Slick years ago (perhaps about 10 years) that was supposed to become a published interview on one of the Petra sites, but it never materialized. Some of the stuff that jmslick has posted is very similar to what I talked about with him back then.
I found an eight-page document I'd written in 2014 for this Petra "wiki": http://petra.wikia.com/wiki/Petra_Wiki#
Maybe the wiki owner thought me to be an impostor, so decided to not post my information.
Or, maybe I forgot to send the document.

I can't work it out there are the LED's an on/off switch and a variable... some sort of kit/home made visual metronome?jmslick wrote:I think I saw that shirt for sale once on eBay... rather ragged out and moth-eaten.
Does anyone know what this thing is?

I know you were kidding I don't know if you still have the same e-mail, but maybe we can agree on what to publish and whatnot via e-mail. Let me know. Thanks!jmslick wrote:Hi, Carlo!Thief wrote: That was me. Never thought you were an impostor, but you never sent the document. I was kidding about the impostor thing. You were not intruding; I just wrote a bunch of stuff and forgot to send it. I still have all of it. If I were to publish it, I'd probably edit a bit first.

That's easy. Flip that toggle switch and an electronic cigarette pops up.jmslick wrote:I think I saw that shirt for sale once on eBay... rather ragged out and moth-eaten.

I found a video that perfectly explains exactly what this thing is.jmslick wrote:Does anyone know what this thing is?
