Just some thoughts:
But what would the use of such a contract be, if Bob wouldn't start selling the DVD eventually? It would only decrease sales (even though not by great numbers...).
Is there also a possibility that Petra Productions will release a DVD with the Petra concert only? This Rock And Vida event was of course much big than only Petra and I guess the DVD will also feature a lot of those other things that were happening there. So perhaps non-Argentinian buyers might only be interested in the Petra-part.

This clip on youtube taken from the dvd, has footage of a fight in the crowd at the 3:15 mark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x41wv4ZsfLg

I wouldn't worry about it. It's on youtube already. It doesn't look like the DVD was professionally shot or recorded. It doesn't look or sound good. The sound system has feedback. Poor John couldn't hear well and is a bit pitchy. The band flubbed a few things. Why not let the last DVD represent what Petra could do live? You are only as good as your last work. This doesn't look or sound up to par with what we all know they are capable of.

well, I wouldn't judge quality or professionalism based on a YouTube video that a fan bootlegged.
As far as video quality - yes, that was a professional film crew. What is wrong with it? It looks GOOD! I like THIS filming style so much better than Farewell - at least I can SEE what is happening, rather than jumping back & forth between shots so fast that I can barely figure out who's playing, and using every special effect in the universe -whether it fits in or not.
FYI -- I have made contact again, and the footage will be coming to the U.S. shortly. Whether or not it is made into a saleable product is yet to be seen.

I agree. I was frustrated with the final DVD. I sold it. It gave me a headache. This is what happens when someone with no experience (here is the qualifier of that experience) in high-grossing concert videos is doing it. Anyone can be called a professional video crew. Professional at what? Shooting corporate parties, architecture or news events? Sorry, but neither was shot like a comparable band's concert video.
What's a real whizzer is that they had no follow spots on the guys. The crowd has more lighting and effects than the most important person on that stage. John was in the dark.
Looky here. Here is Styx at Red Rocks, and he is perfectly lit IN THE DAYTIME with more light than John.
