Way to go Lifeway Christian Stores

Hey all,

I have been in 2 Lifeway Stores this week and have seen the 2 Guys CD as a Recommended by Lifeway Stores as well as the price point of 13.99. So if you have a Lifeway local stop by and thank them for carrying 2 Guys. And if you happen to be lucky and have a Mardel Store stop and thank them for carrying Johns CD The Grafting. That's where I got my copy.

Even though they are independent we are still seeing the music on the shelves.

Thanks means nothing. Buy it. That speaks volumes. The people in the stores have absolutely nothing to do with merchandise purchasing. That is done at the big tower. Those people in the tower see $$ as the indicator.

That much I know as I used to work for family. By bringing it up to a clerk you make it visable thus letting them know that they have a cd on the shelves that they normally wouldn't know of. I know the days of a typical music buyer are over I used to be one. But "thanking" them is getting it in front of their nose so maybe they can tell someone else. I bought John;s CD in a Mardel because it was the first place I saw it. But Yeah I understand It's all about the moolah

I'll be looking for it at my Lifeway this week.

Sometimes at Walmart, if I find a Petra CD, I move it to the top.

I stopped in to Family Bookstores and asked about John's CD. They said it would take two weeks and not a single store in the state of GA had it on the shelf. I then went to Lifway and they said the same thing.

However, they must have had 10 copies of the II Guys CD on the shelf, but I don't think anyone is going to find them unless they are specifically looking for it. It is tucked away on the shelf in the "T" section.

Both Family & Lifeway are a bit more involved when it comes to stocking The Grafting vs. VE..... these two stores will receive The Grafting nationwide near the end of this month, so they both WILL be carrying it.
