Farewell tour

Post by shawnpfan01 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:07 pm

If you could have picked one song for them to play on the Farewell tour, which would it have been? Mine would have to be Underneath The Blood. That song is just such a good rock song.

Any one else???

Prayer with JL on keyboards.

If I was going to have GXV sing another song on the farwell DVD it would be Not of this world.

The song that I would have liked to hear Greg sing is Adonai. What a great praise song.

One of my all time favorites that they never play in concert All The Kings Horses. Incidentally, I would also love to hear a remixed version of this song with guitars up front rather in the mixed into the back. Actually, that could be applied to much of the TMW album.

When we saw them, that bone-head manager of theirs was mixing, blowing up the opening band's PA. We would have been happy just to hang out.

Since we are dreaming, and since it WAS a farewell tour, they should have played a three hour show, had all the players from all of the incarnations cycle through, and play every song that people yelled from the audience.

I wanted to hear John sing Stand In The Gap.

Just courious, what is so special about St. Agustine's Pears.

What is it about that song that draws you to it?

The rest of the album sounds like a dirge. This particular song is one of the ew up tempo songs on the album, and it has some tinges of old school Petra.

I kind of thought that the song God Fixation had the same feel.
