Hopefully this won't be a one-time deal. If there's a good response to this, maybe new and old Petra would be interested in doing it again.

I'd sure pay to see 'em play in my neighborhood.

At the very least, who can we contact to get permission to hand record the concert? My father in law is willing to record it for me and my family, but I know that it's generally discouraged / outlawed. Maybe you know who to contact Sue?

I know it's been awhile, but has anyone heard if this event is going to be video taped (audio tape would also be cool)? I would LOVE to be there, but it is my birthday that weekend and I am having about 50 people over and I think they would notice if I was missing. Even a copy such as the Alive 2000 would be awesome. Someone? Anyone?

Folks;

The Benjamin Gate's last show was recorded with permission (and encouragement) by the band with the single condition that no money be made and the DVD be circulated to fans.

I send I think it was $6 and got back a great DVD with good artwork.

I see folks suggesting contact the band to do this. So who has asked Sue?
I am handy at artwork for stuff like this *though I know from see it that others on this are even better!*

So what can I do? I can't get to the show. But I will do anything else. Money, time, what ever.

I am PLANNING on going to this concert!! I have a brother who lives in Indy, that is 4 hours away from where I am at, then it's only two from there. I am going if I have to hitch hike! I mean think about it...Classic Petra and new Petra...that it is a Petheads dream come true!!

Now WHO in the world can we contact about videoing this thing, for those true, die hard Petheads who absolutley cannot go. It would be a nice gesture of the band to allow somebody to record it. I would do it..if there is permission granted!!

So what up..Sue?!

An absolute dream concert to be sure. I can already imagine "We Need Jesus" with original and current lead singers of Petra. <s> Wish I could make it.

Sorry Kevin, there's nothing I can do about it.

If I were there, I'd do some amateur filming myself - but my son's graduating, so it's party time in Sheboygan.

From what I hear here on the Zone, no one on the Petra side is willing to authorize a video.

Judboy - You MAY try contacting Bill Glover... it can't hurt. After all, it's his band leading in.

Erik (Juiceman) and I are trying to get a small group to do a road trip. We had a 3rd person, but he had to back out. Anyone from Minneapolis, MN (or on the way to IN) interested in joining us?

We have room for 2 people. We want to leave about 2 p.m. Friday and would be camping in Angola and then returning Sunday morning. Please post a response as soon as possible if you are interested.
