Does anybody know if Petra played in King Fest on June 25?

I got a fan complaning that Petra wasn't scheduled though it was at petraband.com

Sorry I can't help you out.

Mangement has refused to send me any scheduling info or dates, so I must rely on the Pethead network to gather info on tour dates and locations.

If anyone notices any show in your area, please email me the info!

Is this still the same manager? We really need to pray for God's intervention in this situation. They barely have have the dates up on Petraband.com. This is no way to get the word out about Petra.

I was going to say that Wayne doesn't seem to know who his friends are, but then I remembered the awful things that have been posted about him on this board.

Sue, do you mean that management won't even give you dates to put on John Schlitt's official webpage? If that's the case, that's a shot against John personally, not just the band. And why would a manager want to intentionally limit a band's exposure anyway? Just some thoughts I was wondering about...have a good one!

Does John and Bob know of this attitude with the manager? This is not a Christlike thing to be doing, and also if it would get to a certain point it could be considered fraud and/or slander against Petra/John. There is a circumstance where this happened to Aerosmith in the early 80's. I'm not really sure of all the circumstances around that issue, but I know this manager went to prison for what he did. He was taking their money to manage them, and was actually spreading gossip and giving them a bad name, and alot big marketing deals fell through because of him.

I would assume John and Bob aren't in the dark about what goes on; they're not dummies.

That's just my opinion though; they are big boys and it's up to them to decide what, if anything, needs to be done.

I guess we don't have all the facts on the situation, but it sure doesn't sound like Wayne has the best interests of Petra in his thinking.

Well, you'd have to ask John about how he feels.... only he can say.

Ask & Answered wasn't dropped because of petraband.com - we just ran out of the questions. Believe me, it takes a lot of typing and organizing to do that thing, not to mention long-distance phone calls to get the "answered" portion. But I enjoyed doing it - hopefully you all enjoyed reading it.

I have asked John about doing it a few months ago, but at that time he said petraband was gonna do something like that.

Obviously that never happened... I could ask him again and see where it goes.
