Other forms of bait

Post by Michael » Tue May 24, 2005 3:26 pm

You guys remember when youth pastors had to explain that Christian rock music was "bait" to get kids to come to hear the Gospel? Well, this article is about another kind of "bait" that a church in Minnesota is using these days.

Yeah, I read that in the Minneapolis Star Tribune today. I saw Sting on TBN a while back so I was aware of this Christian wrestling thing. Still don't know what to make of it. I guess it could be a tool for the Lord. Who am I to put limitations on God?

I don't know about calling it "bait", but I think it is great because it shows that God can use anything or anyone. God is not just for church, He is for every aspect of our lives. Maybe those fans of wrestling will see that there are Christian wrestlers and start to look for Christians in other forms of sport and entertainment.
