Post by microkoe » Wed Jun 07, 2006 10:30 pm

Wondering if anyone on the board has heard anymore of Viktor band. Anxiously waiting for the tunes. JImi Bennet lives around my part of the state.. and i talked to him at the Stryper shows in Atlanta. He was gonna keep me posted .. but im sure he is busy and all. i chek thier site frequently.. but it hasnt been updates since before the GMAs.. thanks..

I am doing Louie Weaver's Ministry page and I haven't heard from the Weaver's in ages. I keep hearing rumors that the album is in the final stages and a tour is being booked but nothing has been updated on their site for awhile.

They better hurry before Louie takes to his busdriving and makes a career out of it. :)

I know of a promoter that tried to get them in our area sometime this summer but their management declined the show. The promoter said they didn't give a reason why but he said he felt like not everyone was on the same page over on their side.

At GMA Week, Louie said that they were close. they had just rewritten and/or reworked their tunes again. They were going to go to the studio and knock it out.

Their shows are budget priced. The last time that I talked to the booking agent in Nashville, Viktor could be had under $3k. Don't know if that has changed.

Since it is all indie, it is all self funded. That can always slow things down, especially when all of the guys have their normal jobs and families to take care of first.
