Just picked up Switchfoot's latest, Where the Light Shines Through. Switchfoot is my favorite of the "Christian crossover" bands.

Well, JFH didn't review the Deluxe Edition. Hope Is the Anthem is not the last track. Begin Forever, at #14, is fantastic. JFH poo-pooed Live It Well just a bit, but I think it's one of the best tracks on the album. I can tell they put a lot of production into it, and I love it.
The whole disc is really good. I think the lyric writing gives a much bigger glimpse into Jon's theology than in the past. That tells me he's in a much different place than say the days of Nothing Is Sound.

Musically this is a little different than I'm used to from them.
Jon is a deep person. I think his lyrics only scratch the surface of what's in his head...
