Classic Petra Hittin' The Festivals!

Post by fcollazo » Fri Feb 11, 2011 6:26 pm

Seems like everyhting is happening well for Classic Petra. The Promoters are taking notice like Mike said.
So far in the states; Kingdom Bound, Soulfest, Conerstone! The rest will follow.
A Decent World Tour, to places that Petra has never played before, and perhaps never heard the Gospel!

What else can we ask for?

Come on people, why keeping doubting what God can do when people dedicate themselves to his service.

You are going to have three new Petra CDs in less than a year, and full blown tour, and beyond. Cheer up!

welcome back.. the doubting stopped last week. since the price has been dropped.. why can't we get our own concert together? half price from what I have heard! Kansas would be a great spot for a Petra concert.

I would rather see them do fewer large shows, than a bunch of smaller ones. It will make them more money and keep the scale of the show large, maintaining the impact.

I'd like to see Creation bring them in, with a bunch of other old school bands; Whiteheart and the like, and maybe add an extra day of programming and have the whole day be a throwback day.

I was thinking the same thing gman. Creation is the BIG MAMA of all Christian Rock festivals, and I have a feeling that Classic Petra would go over really good if they were to play there.

This is good news. I just wish there was a festival within a days drive for me.

It's been awhile since Creation has brought out someone old school, not counting the recent Amy G non-surprise appearance. They've missed the mark with some of the folks they've brought back, but I think Petra would do really well because it's rock, and it's also really good.
